A critical infrastructure, or infrastructure, refers to an infrastructure that is in the critical path of being hit by a disaster.
This includes bridges, roads, electrical systems, and sewage systems.
“This includes a critical infrastructure if it’s going to be a long term investment, or if it has to be maintained for a long time,” said Scott Wilson, an associate professor of civil and environmental engineering at Ohio State University.
Wilson, who specializes in infrastructure planning, said the concept has become more of a political issue in recent years.
“A lot of it is just political.
There’s a lot of talk about ‘the future is bright,'” he said.
Wilson and others said they have noticed a trend among politicians who are considering a project in the Keystone XL corridor.
They say there is a growing perception that the economic benefits from Keystone XL would outweigh the environmental risks of building the pipeline.
The U.S. House passed a bill to approve the pipeline in July.
But some lawmakers, including Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.
Va., who has previously said he would support a project, have said he has changed his mind.
The bill has stalled in the Senate.
